I can assist with all of the following, under a limited ‘short order’ contract.
Tender planning
Putting a tender programme together under NEC3/4 can be daunting. The contract is proscriptive regarding how the programme is submitted and managed. This is because, uniquely under NEC3/4, the programme is a contract document and pivotal to the management of the contract. I have vast experience, and can ensure you submit a compliant and realistic programme.
Progress
The NEC3/4 contract must be complied with regarding updates. Experience has shown that where disagreements arise, the programme is at the centre, leading to costly commercial disputes. Under NEC3/4, programmes must be updated regularly and all change is evaluated against the defined ‘Accepted Programme’.
You may also find there are additional provisions to the contract in the ‘Works Information’, (or Scope under NEC4) which describe how the programme must be managed. I can ensure your updates comply, and where appropriate advise your regular planner how this can be achieved.
Change (Compensations Events, Project Manager’s Instructions)
This is an area much misunderstood under NEC3/4. There are rules which must be followed with respect to the contracted programme and again, the cause of much dispute and wasted time and money. I can assist with change, on a one-off or ongoing basis.
